This split release on Lamat sees funky Peruvian house-merchant Chong X lead off with two new originals - the seriously tropical "Prisco", which rides a bare-bones beat and wavering synth line into a giddy frenzy, and the chilly ethno-dubstep of "Reiz". Czech producer Don Pedropoulos also mixes hyped tropical percussion with lashings of bass on the twisted funk of "Save Ourselves", while "Keep The Fire Blazing" is a galloping electronic monster that nicely counterpoints the organic sounds of the rest of the EP.
